WHAT WE SELL: Mile Long Records has over 5000 12" and 7" vinyl records in stock and we are adding titles every day. We also store nearly 20,000 more titles offsite. Our inventory consists of brand new vinyl (we are always getting new releases and adding reissued favorites) and lots of vintage classic and esoteric rock, jazz, soul, blues and country. We also carry an array of used Compact Discs and for the Juke Box fans, we have plenty of 7" 45s. Our store is highly organized and our customers tell us it's one of the best stores aroundto browse and find some gems.

WHAT WE BUY: Mile Long Records buys large and small collections almost every day. We will buy almost any type of record, but there are a few things we prefer.. and a few others we are not interest in. See below for our hit list of titles we are most interested in and the list of titles that we are not able to purchase. If you think you have something we will be interested in, shoot us an e-mail at vinyl@milelongrecords.com to set up a time to come in with your collection. If your collection is too large, we can also come to you! Just e-mail us with your info and we will coordinate a convenient time.

HIT LIST OF GENRES WE WILL ALMOST ALWAYS BUY: 60's, 70's, 80's Classic, Progressive and Hard Rock, Punk and New Wave/Post Punk. Almost any rock titles from the 90's (when CD was more popular). Blues, Soul and nearly any Jazz title other than new-age "light" Jazz. We also love old Metal, any Audiophile pressings (Mobile Fidelity, Nautilus, Mosaic, etc) and we love country from the 50's and 60's. We also purchase classical, but both the covers and vinyl need to be in near mint condition to be considered.

GENRES/TITLES WE CANNOT BUY: Titles we are the least interested in include: Show tunes and sound tracks from the 50s and 60s, Older "Greatest Hits" (The K-Tel and Ronco type), Most Big Band titles unless they are in perfect condition (Glenn Miller, Benny Goodman, etc), Any Compilation Box Sets (Time-Life, Readers Digest, etc), Easy Listening and most Comedy LPs. We also have no interest in 78's or any vinyl record that is damaged beyond repair (cracked, severely warp, water damaged or mold damaged)

THE FINAL WORD ON SELLING US YOUR RECORDS: The reality is most collections contain both desirable and undesirable titles and we don't want the process to be hard on you. To that end, we will generally purchase the entire lot so its not a hassle for you to sort out the good, bad and ugly. So shoot us an e-mail and let us know what you have and we'll figure out what works best for everyone. Even if we can't take your collection, we may be able to point you in the right direction.... thanks!!!
